Bitcoin
Where are you on it?
Bitcoin - where are you on it?
I sense there is currently lots of buzz about Bitcoin, but opinions vary wildly:
"What's all the fuss about Bitcoin?"
"Isn't it just for criminals?"
Meanwhile, skeptics in finance and investment circles argue:
"Bitcoin isn't a real store of value."
"It's just a passing fad."
None of these views come close to aligning with mine.
Here's how I see it:
Bitcoin is a digital asset in an increasingly digital world.
Bitcoin offers financial protection for people everywhere, enabling them to safeguard their assets.
Bitcoin is accessible, allowing anyone to own a piece, no matter how small the investment - as low as £1.
Bitcoin can be brought by everyone - simple transactions, cutting out the middleman and fostering independence.
When I was introduced to Bitcoin, in November 2021, I thought Bitcoin had the potential to be a great equalizer, bridging the gap between the haves and have-nots.
Today I think this even more strongly.
Bitocin’s power lies not only in its technology but in its capacity to empower globally. A good friend of mine, jarrett, describes brilliantly how it can do this - so I won’t repeat it, just suggest you listen to this podcast - it’s only 8 minutes.

This is not finance advice but what is possible through Bitocin is that those people with less economic freedom can invest a small amount in Bitcoin, memorize the seed phrase, move countries, and still independently access their resources. Something that is not possible with fiat.
Ownership of digital assets, Bitcoin, gives people power.
Yet, this potential hinges on one critical factor: education. The true barrier to Bitcoin's widespread adoption is a lack of understanding. To unlock its full potential, we need to demystify it. We need to educate on how to buy, sell, send, exchange, and, crucially, why it matters for everyone, everywhere, to engage with Bitcoin and be part of shaping the future.
Last week CryptoMondays London had a great session ‘All About Bitcoin where these points were touched on. Check it out - link below.
